Homemade Chutney Sweet and Spicy

This homemade chutney sweet and spicy we can warmly recommend!

It is quickly prepared and the sweet and spicy flavor is the kick for many dishes. We serve it with patties, bowls, wraps, quinoa salad and more.

Let’s get to know the recipe:

CHUTNEY SWEET AND SPICY

INGREDIENTS

for 1 ½ cups

  • 2 tomatos
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 mango fresh (preparation with dried mangos see below)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch garlic powder or garlic fresh
  • 1 pinch chili

PREPARATION

Puree all ingredients in a blender – small pieces may remain. Season to taste and the chutney is ready!

It’s best to always have it on hand in the fridge!

If you don’t have fresh mangoes available, you can make the chutney with dried mangoes!

CHUTNEY WITH DRIED MANGOES

First puree all ingredients without mangos. Now add the dried and chopped mango pieces (approx. 40 g) to the fruit mixture and soak for 1 hour.

Then mix everything together – ready!

It also goes very well as a dip for raw crackers and as a souvenir for a picnic.
