Delicious Raw Energy Balls

We are happy to present here raw energy balls in completely new flavor compositions – fruity, sweet and salty. We love these especially as a healthy energy kick for in between meals and as a souvenir for the party buffet. They are quick to prepare and easy to take along.

Let yourself be surprised by these exciting tastes! These delicious energy balls are made with just a few ingredients and can be prepared in no time.

BEET ENERGY BALLS


INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup beets
  • ½ cup carrots
  • 1 cup dried apricots
  • 3 cups shredded coconut
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 pinch vanilla

PREPARATION

  1. Finely grate beets and carrots in food processor.
  2. Add apricots and process to a homogeneous dough.
  3. Add 2 cups shredded coconut, cinnamon and vanilla and work into the dough.
  4. Form 30-40 balls depending on desired size, roll in remaining coconut and serve immediately or store in the refrigerator. They can be kept in the refrigerator for about 1 week.

GOLDEN ALMOND ENERGY BALLS


INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups almonds
  • 3 tablespoons honey or rice syrup
  • 1 piece turmeric (½ inch)
  • 1 piece ginger (½ inch)
  • 1 pinch ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • ½ teaspoon Ceylon cinnamon
  • Grated zest of ½ untreated lemon

PREPARATION

  1. Peel and finely grate turmeric and ginger root.
  2. Blend almonds into a flour in blender.
  3. Process all ingredients in food processor to a homogeneous dough.
  4. Shape into about 25 balls, depending on desired size.
  5. Store in jars in a cool place, can be kept for up to 14 days.

BROCCOLI ENERGY BALLS


INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup cashews
  • 3 tablespoons hemp seeds
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ onion finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon yeast flakes

PREPARATION

  1. Blend cashews into flour in blender.
  2. Chop broccoli florets in food processor.
  3. Add all remaining ingredients to food processor and blend to a homogeneous dough.
  4. Form into about 25 balls and enjoy immediately or store in the refrigerator. They can be kept in the refrigerator for about 1 week.
