Vegan Mango Lassi

Vegan Mango Lassi – the perfectly delicious summer drink!

Lassi is an Indian yogurt drink made to help with digestion. It tastes wonderfully fruity and refreshing and is traditionally made with mango, yogurt, sugar and rose water.

We’ll show you a vegan version here, where we used store-bought coconut yogurt that was heated.

VEGAN MANGO LASSI


for 2 servings

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups mango fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup coconut yogurt
  • 2 Medjool dates – optional
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 cups water

PREPARATION

Put everything together in a powerful blender – blend for 60 seconds – done !

RAW VEGAN MANGO LASSI


for 2 servings

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups mango fresh or frozen
  • 1-2 bananas
  • 2 Medjool dates – optional
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 cups water

PREPARATION

Put everything together in a powerful blender – blend for 60 seconds – done !

TIPS:

  • We used store-bought coconut yogurt. If you make your own coconut yogurt, then this version would be raw.
  • If you like to experiment with flavors and spices, you can add cardamom, turmeric, vanilla or rose water.
