Raw Vegan Carrot Spread

This delicious raw carrot spread is not only a treat for the palate, but also a feast for the eyes and your health. The special thing about this spread is the combination of carrots, which are among the foods with the highest beta-carotene content, coconut butter, orange and cayenne pepper.

  • Beta-carotene is converted into vitamin A in our intestines and is helpful for a variety of vital functions.
  • Since beta-carotene is fat-soluble, the medium-chain lauric acids contained in coconut butter promote its absorption in the small intestine.
  • Oranges also support the absorption of beta-carotene with their high vitamin C content and their antioxidant effects.
  • In addition, cayenne pepper not only gives the spread a spicy note, but also has antioxidant, antibacterial and digestive properties.



  • 1 pound of carrots
  • ½ cup coconut butter
  • 1 orange
  • 1 apple cider vinegar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 fine pinch of cayenne pepper
  • some chives for sprinkling


Wash the carrots, cut them into small pieces and process them together with the remaining ingredients in the blender to form a fine cream.

Sprinkle with finely chopped chives and serve  ♡
