Raw Chocolate Spread

Making a raw chocolate spread yourself has many advantages:

  • When we make it ourselves, we look closely at the ingredients.
  • The spread tastes true and is quite simple to prepare.
  • A raw chocolate spread allows snacking with a clear conscience.

We especially recommend this recipe if you have children. Most kids love commercial chocolate spreads. But have you ever taken a closer look at the ingredients? They consist mostly of sugar and palm oil, supplemented by skim milk powder and hazelnuts.

In our chocolate spread, we use high-quality ingredients and sweeten naturally.

  • 1 pound hazelnut butter
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder in raw food quality
  • 2 – 3 tablespoons date syrup
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 pinch vanilla

Stir all ingredients into hazelnut butter – and your spread is ready to enjoy!

This spread is really a treat for the palate. Of course you can adapt the ingredients to your taste. For example, almond butter could be used instead of hazelnut butter, or another alternative sweetener. Carob powder could be an alternative to chocolate powder. For more creaminess, you can increase the amount of coconut oil and mix the spread in a blender.

We hope you enjoy experimenting and are curious to see how your chocolate spread tastes!
